I'm half Russian half Native American, I grew up speaking both English and Russian. I had to learn Japanese for a foreign exchange trip with my school to spend a month in Japan with 20 other students. I've recently noticed when I speak Japanese it sounds like I've grown up there but when I speak Russian it's kind of lousy, like I'm just beginning to learn. Why is this? Is this normal?
