I use live mocha right now to learn it but it's not very thorough.
I want to learn like they would teach in elementary school, like going through each letter and punctuation and such. I want to be able to read and know what words are if I see something in Russian...like I don't want to just know the words they teach in the live mocha lessons.

Is there any kind of site I could go to for that? Preferably free ones. I've looked but haven't had any luck.

I'm writing a story and i want to have a fictitious city with a Russian name. Problem is, every English to Russian Translator I've used so far gives me the answer in Cyrillic (Russian Alphabet) which I cannot read. Can someone PLEASE find me a Russian translation for "Land of Rats" in the English Alphabet so I can read it? It would be most helpful.

I'm teaching myself Russian and I understand the alphabet, male and female words/wording. I kind of know how to write in Russian but, not fully. I really REALLY want to speak Russian but, It's totally different that pronouncing the words. Some Russian words need to be translated to English and some are translated already in English.
