I've been looking for a website that gave examples on handwritten Russian letters, but all I can find is cursive, no print. I'm totally clueless on how to write the Russian "D" and the one that looks like an X with a verticle line through it. Anyone know a website with pictures of PRINT handwritten letters? Please, no cursive, no computer font.

Not native speakers question. What's the highest priority when learning Russian? please make a list choosing between these: learning Vocabulary, Syntax, Grammar, Pronunciation, Slang, Semantics or basic conversational skills

Why did the troops mutiny during the russian revolution? like why did they end up supporting the working class side and not take orders from the tzar anymore?
i am of course talking about the revolution of 1917, the February revolution.

I'm trying to learn Russian from scratch. I was wondering which book+CD combination would be best for actually learning the language.
Native English speaker, basic French ability, if that helps.

Basically, if anyone can speak/write fluent Russian and translate for me, that'd be nice.
I want to contact with a Russian friend in Russian but my Russian skills are extremely bad, and otherwise I only speak fluent English and German.
So if anyone can MSN me, my MSN is the_matness@yahoo.com. Please contact me and tell me you found my Yahoo question, then hopefully you can help me translate things into Russian. It's just a simple conversation nothing too hard. Thank you veryyyy much. (:

I am 15 years old and I am taking classes to learn Russian, but I feel like I am not learning enough from the class alone. I study somewhat independently, but I think it would go faster if I had a friend that could help me with learning more things in the Russian language. Is there anyone out there that can help me?
