Find out about the Russian language online.
i would think – GOOD for them, learning new is always interesting and if you have will or wish, or need then why not??
good luck
they should find a good psychiatrist to straighten out their feelings.
I think that it can be a good mind-stretching activity, but not more, since you people in the West manage perfectly well without the Russian language
i really dont care if another person learns russian, as long as they dont pretend to b russian just because they learned the language
I have no feelings either way. If they want to learn Russian it is their business.
They should feel good, I have been studying Russian for several years and I’m American.
Well….it’s a little annoying because Russian is considered a hard language to learn so when they do, some people act like they are better than you because they studied it and you just know it, and when people pretend to be Russian when they just speak it, thats annoying. But, I do have friends that think Russian is like amazing when I speak it and are trying to learn and thats fine…
There is no such thing as too much of knowledge, and every effort in that direction should be encouraged, of course, but i feel pity for these people, as well, too, because Russian is such a complex, reach, complicated language, that even native speakers cannot fully figure it out and use it properly.
Studying Russian could turn into life time commitment, without really satisfactory results…
