I am Russian. Was born in russia and lived there for 4 years then came to usa. I learned russian speaking and understanding, but i havent learned how to write with the Cyrillic alphabet, and havent learned how to read it? It annoys me that I dont know how to read or write in my launguage. I want to learn this before i go to russia and live there in 2 years.

Is a useful website.
check wikipedia.com for Russian Alphabet, Cyrillic etc
I took Russian in college. To help us learn the cyrillic alphabet, our instruction divided the alphabet into 3 groups – letters that are the same in cyrillic and our alphabet, "false friends" – letters that we have, but are pronounced differently in the cyrillic alphabet, and totally new letters. It is actually pretty easy once you get it down.
