You can do that from college. But you might want to get a head start before you start school. Try finding a course online. There are many free ones. They are the following 1. how much effort do you put into the lanugage if you go out of your way to find Russian books webpages movies and to watch Russian TV your will learn more than just sitting in class. 2. Your ability- some one who has language as a talent will learn easier than one who dose not 3. Location- if you go to the Univerisity Alaska Anchorage there a lot more Russians than in lets say the Univesity of Nevada Las vegas so it would be easier to practice.
