Which is easier to learn, German or Russian?

I'm a native English speaker and I already have 7 years of Spanish experience.

I did not say that they were commonly used, i said that russian is commonly using them which means something else.

The question is still why. I know that many languages are using foreign words, so my question is more... how did they became used...in which circumstances?

Then, I know very basic German (days, numbers, introductions, etc) So any information on learning Russian tips, advice would be very helpful thanks.

I am a native English speaker, and now I want to be able to speak another language. I'm particularily interested in the Russian language, (to be honest, I think it sounds pretty cool when its spoken). So what I want to know is how difficult is it to learn the Russian language? And what is the best way to learn it? I've heard of the program Rosetta Stone, and I am willing to pay the 0 for all three levels.

So any advice you're willing to give out, and any information on the Russian language would be much appreciated! Thank you very much!

Hello there.
My first language is English (as you can already tell), and I originally was learning Latin in Middle School, but hated it. I am now in my second year of college and I was thinking of possibly taking up this Rosetta Stone software or whatever it is, to learn either German or Russian.
I guess its all a matter of opinion, but what is yours?
Russian or German?
By the way, I am not looking for whats easier, just what I enjoy, which will probably be Russian.

I already speak Japanese fluently and I want to pick up another foreign language to fluency level.

Which language would be more useful in the future? Chinese or Russian?
Thanks for your input everyone! I appreciate your responses.

Louis the Linguist: I "picked up" Japanese and I know the effort involved. I've studied the language for several years including spending a couple years in the country. I'm prepared to study another language for years and live in that country for a couple years as well. Don't patronize me!

Is there an online class that is free or is low cost?

It has to be an actual language class or program, not just a website that just gives the basics.
Please help, I've seen Rosettaa stone but its way to much......
