Do you like the way the Russian language sounds?

If so why? I just think it sounds impressive. I think it makes the men sound commanding and women intelligent.

You’re right about how it makes men and women sound. I am a Russian major in college and the reason I’m so drawn to Russian is because of the way it sounds. The consonants and vowel combination is beautiful. The thing one must realize is that these consonant combinations provide better understanding semantically and often pragmatically. It’s a great language to study with some intense grammar.
Personally, I don’t like the sound of Russian. It tends to have many consonants strung together with few vowels in-between and I think that makes it sound ugly.
I’ve learned to tolerate it because my current girlfriend is Slovak and her mother sometimes speaks Russian.
