How do you spell goluboi (gay/blue) in proper Russian Cyrillic?

I know that the term for gay in Russian is "sky blue" or "goluboi", but I can't seem to find how to spell it in Cyrillic.
I have also seen different English spellings: golooboy, goluboi, goluboy, etc.; which is "proper"?
Also, how would I say, "I am gay" in Russian (Cyrillic).
Thanks much!

голубой = goluboy (gah-loo-boy)
Ya – goluboy= I am gay
But yes, such a statement could be dangerous there.
There is no police in Russia to protect "sexual minorities"
You spell it "голубой", but nowadays everyone in Russia understands the word "gay". So, if you say "Ya gei" (Я гей) people would understand you.
As a measure of caution I’d suggest though not to talk about your sexual orientation with Russians.
yeah, all those answers are correct. but I would rather say pedik – Педик. This way everybody will know what you mean.
