How hard is it to learn Russian?

I need 2 semesters of a language for college, sign language fills up quick and I want to take Russian, but I'm not sure how hard it is to learn. How hard is it to learn?

It depends on the person. As I’m assuming you speak nothing but English, I’m going to say it’s going to be a lot tougher than Spanish or German or French.
You have to learn new letters, it’s hard to pronounce, the grammar is pretty different from English. There are cases and genders, but no articles.
That being said, if you want to learn Russian, it might be fun. But yes, expect a challenge if you don’t have experience with languages.
