How would you write the word “unit” phonetically with the Cyrillic (Russian) Alphabet?

I don't want the actual Russian word for Unit, I want how you would spell it as if trying to teach a Russian how to pronounce the English word. What I came up with was Унит

About spelling: russian юнит will sounds exactly as a english unit
you can use юнит word but it isn’t our native word though it could be clear for some IT people etc… Generally we use единица but not like a word by itself. For example – if you talking about soldiers or tanks we use военная единица but if you spak about payment unit it gonna be денежная единица or платёжная единица. Everything depends n context. You may don’t need to use единица word for some units.
