Any number of things. Flashcards are great. Make a list. Practice writing. I assume you can read English. Start with the letters that are the same as in English: А Б Е К М Н О С Т (I may have forgotten some). Then learn the ones that LOOK like English but are pronounced (at least slightly) differently: В Е Н Р У И Й Х (not in any particular order) then learn the ones that are unique to Russian (ones like Ш, Ч, Ю, Я, Ж, еtc). There are only 23 consonants, ten vowels, and two other characters to learn for a total of 33 letters. With what you know of English (and knowing Russian sounds) this shouldn’t be too hard.
