In True Blood S1E4 Eric and Pam talk briefly in Russian or Ukranian or something. What are they saying?

Ths is in the last 5-10 minutes, right after Eric calls Bill and Sookie over.
I'd try and write it down phonetically but I'd just screw it up.
Thanks!

its swedish… he told pam that sookie would be a good additon to their zoo and she said i know… ERIC is super hott lol
Not so sure about the show, but Eric was a viking in the books. Hence his blonde hair and height. So, he probably speaks whatever vikings spoke??? Just a guess???
In the tv show, Eric speaks Old Swedish. It is Old Swedish because modern Swedish has a different dialect. The Vikings spoke what modern Icelandic people speak currently, but because at the time during the Vikings, all countries of the North spoke this language including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and Finland. Old Swedish would be the language of Sweden during this time, which would be correct considering Eric’s human life as a Viking. As Pam’s creator, Eric would have taught her Old Swedish so they would be able to speak to each other so that they would only know what one another is saying. To understand this language and dialect better, check out the Swedish black metal / Viking metal band, "Arckanum", on their latest release, "Antikosmos", or any one of their past releases. You can also check out the 2007 movie, "Pathfinder" starring Karl Urban and Moon Bloodgood. If you want to go even deeper, google "Ancient Runes" and learn the ancient Runic alphabet of the Vikings, as Runes are still used today in a lot of Norwegian and Swedish Black Metal. Even the new "Taake" album, which is self-titled, the lyrics in the booklet are in the ancient Runic alphabet.
