it depends which country are you in but russian is quite popular so you might find it in bookshop. tapes, cd, books.
do not listen to any crap such as pop or any other music. they use ugly language or slang.
use normal books or cd s that are meant to teach foreigners
As far as European languages go, it’s one of the harder ones, but that’s all relative. In comparison to languages such as Japanese, Arabic, etc, it’s not too bad at all.
No language is easy, but don’t listen to all the scare mongers when it comes to Russian. It may be one of the harder European languages, but lets not blow it out of proportion, some say it’s the hardest language in the world which is impossible as it’s a European language after all.
I don’t know but I can see why your interested in the language, it’s a beautiful language. what I did (I’m learning Japanese) is listen to some bands that are in russia. Learn about the pop culture in Russia. By listening to russian music weather its rock, pop, rap, or metal, you will be more familiar with pronunciation. also a good site for you to go at if you want to learn the language is: mangolanguages.com. VERY GOOD SITE! that’s where I started my Japanese. I hope I was some of help!
and wwwsoci likes to think she knows what shes talking about it is good to listen to music so you can learn pronunciation! not slang
