I have been chatting with a Russian girl through a pen pal website for a couple of weeks now, and we have had a lot of really good conversations, but I am starting to get a little bit suspicious of her intentions. She is very pretty and very smart, and a lot of what she says is really interesting and insightful, but she is starting to get very sensitive about everything I say, and she is insisting that we talk on Skype by video chat very soon, even though we’ve only chatted for a couple of weeks. She is also starting to complain about how she cannot find a boyfriend or a husband in Russia, and has even hinted at wanting to come visit when she is in the States to work next summer. Is this a great potential opportunity, or am I dealing with someone who is trying to use or manipulate me? I have been in similar situations before, but am very confused, having never been in this particular situation. Any advice would be most helpful.
