I took two years of it in high school. Didn’t seem too hard, once you mastered the alphabet. The pronunciation is all phonetic. Get used to rolling your R’s. Conjugation is relatively straightforward, and sentence structure is pretty easy, too.
Now mind you, there’s probably a universe of difference between speaking it, and speaking it well!
I admire your optimism, yes, it will get harder soon enough…
Russian language is so difficult,
that even Russians cannot figure it out.
It is also a beautiful and very rich language.
Prepare yourself for long time commitment, if you want a considerable level of success.
usually if they’re native speakers of the language they arn’t going to know if its a difficult language because they just grew up with it like that so it comes natural to them just like a lot of people that speak english don’t think it’s that complicated even though it’s considered as one of the hardest languages to learn, it also depends on what language u know first and how different it is from what you learn later but it does seem rather complicated so good luck
its one of the hardest languages to learn even if you think you know it you probably dont or you have a bad accent it’ll take a lot of time to speak almost perfect but if you try hard you’ll probably learn it!
Well my outlook on learning new languages is that it’s as hard as you make it. So don’t spend your time worrying about how hard it is, and you’ll be fine. The main problems for English speakers are declension, conjugation and the numerous exceptions to every rule. Spelling is moderately hard for everyone, including native speakers.
There are some native speakers on here, so if you have any questions just post them in the Language section and you’ll get your answer in no time.
Удачи! (Good luck!)
