Is the russian alphabet hard to learn and then to write and read and remember?

How long did it take to remember and learn? I know you need to know the sounds of each letter then its easy to read!

It’s easy. Just gotta try to wrap your head around the symbols that are similar to the Roman symbols and have a different sound.

I didn’t find it that hard. I’ve been studying Russian for about 2 years now and I have had my alphabet pretty much totally down for at least a year. If you work at it every day, it shouldn’t take long to start developing familiarity with it.
its ridiculiosly hard!!!!! my parents r from ukranie (russia) and obviously tried teaching me and my bro russian we speak and understand but the alphabet and reading it is sooo F****** hard!!!! dont bother!!

I learnt it in 5th grade, it wasn’t that hard. There’s also a song to remember it (although it doesn’t include all the letters).

It’s not that hard as you think it is. I just figured out that I was always a little confused after my russian lessons because the ru alphabet has some letters that look the same as our latin letters but are another different letter. So it’s really not that hard. (To keep learning a language fun, it always has to be an interest of yourself…but I’m sure you know that, don’t you?)
You can learn it in two hours of your study time. So if you study 15-20 minutes a day, it will take you about six days or sooner. Here are some very good links for you to learn the Russian alphabet:

It is not hard. I learned the alphabet in 2 days, and began using it in class. If you take a class in high school or university, you will understand it. It becomes second nature. Don’t listen to those fools saying it’s hard. Unlike the English language, every letter in Russian has its own sound, and words are spelled as they sound.
the fastest way to learn a language besides studying or practicing with friends is to listen to their music. There is a lot of russian music out there to listen to.
