There are a few. But Polish will still be hard to learn. I also speak Russian fluently but I am Ukrainian. My grandma has taught me a few things in Polish though. Some things that are alike are Good Dy. In Russian it is pronounced dobriy deny and polish it is pronounced dzayn dobriy.
um sorry there is not much similarities.
There is a lot Polish is Slavic as you know- while and there a lot of word and phrases that are the same i’d recomend lestning to some spoken Polish and reading to decide. Poles like to claim there is not- but there is. I know some Russian.
I speak Polish and when I hear Russian spoken can often understand the gist of what is being said.
This is interesting site – http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/e/languages/similarities/russian/index.html
It claims that 60% of vocabulary is very similar.
You can check, whether you understand some Polish:

they are very similar in vocab, as they are both Slavic languages
