I've become interested in the Russian Culture and would love to learn the language/type it. I know it would be very difficult but I am willing to learn! Please help! Thank you!

nathan i’m learning russain language for 2 years… i can tell you that it’s impossible to learn it alone or with internet… it’s so difficult and rules are very rare… for instance for each verbs here they have 2 verbs… to say "GO" they have 4 verbs… according to the way you use the time…
if you really want to learn it do like me go to the russian cultural center in your city… my teacher is from saint petersbourg.. she’s very competent and lovely and patient with us
Nathan… I spent 6 months in Russia, during the adoption of my son… The language really wasn’t difficult to pick up, although i found it easier submerged there rather that trying to learn it on tape… with that said there are many programs on DVD or CD that you can learn Cyrillic …. the alphabet is different than your native tongue, but is definitely learn able… pasholsta.. (kinda like Hawaiian aloha….) its a greeting and a good by and a thank you, spatseba is also thank you… and pebo is beer…. just to get you excited… i spelt the words phonetically not correctly so you could pronounce them properly…. Good luck to you
Nathan, i have some written lessons of Russian that i composed myself to teach my friend – but i don’t know how it’s possible to teach somebody on the internet. If you’re interested i could send you that lessons per e-mail.
