Seriously, when will they start transmitting their channels like the channel 1 in HD?
Any ideas?
Some even say that it could take them like more than 5 years, which is a long time:(
Any ideas?

I think the 5 year time line is fairly accurate, maybe they could cut it to 3 or 4 years. If you think about it, it has taken quite a bit of time for the US to upgrade to HD TV, and while I notice every week more channels being offered on HD on my cable, it has still taken a few years. In order for them to be able to offer HD, they would need to upgrade their entire system. While the channels have been making advances, they would need to film in HD TV, which is still not possible. Plus, even if you could get the channels in HD, you would have to outfit the rest of the crews in Russia to film in HD and so the process would be lengthy. Plus, in order to get money for upgrading to HD, you would need people to pay good money, plus everyone would have to have HD to make it worthwhile and so on. Essentially put, you are looking at that 5 year time frame in in order for everything to be upgraded.
