We have a difficult grammar. It’s absolutely different from English grammar( English grammar is much more easier). I think the most difficult for foreigners to pick up case ending. In English – book. In Russian – книга kniga, книгу knigu, книгой knigoj
…etc.
We have only 3 tenses, but the endings of words different.
You put verb after noun, but in our language we haven’t strict rules in building of sentences.
It’s not so hard to pick up our alphabet, but it’s rather difficult to spell
correct because pronunciation and spelling of some words are different – pronunciation – spasiba ,spelling – spasibo = thank you.
well in the first place russian grammar is hard because each and every word (nouns, verbs and even adjectives) have a gender.. and when it comes to tenses its quite difficult to get used to how each and every word’s ending changes.. russian language is quite flexible, there is no such a thing that the verb should be last in the sentence or whatever, u can say the same sentence in many ways and it will still be correct providing that u place the endings and suffixes right.. i think its one of the most difficult languages to learn.. the best way to learn it is to conversate with the native speakers and once u’re familiar with the language and grab a few words, then its good to back it up with the grammar, but if u start off with learning grammar and then try speakin, i doubt it will work out.
