Should I learn russian or arabic?

I am currently going to school to for criminal justice. So my future career will be a police officer or something in that area. I am also thinking of joining the marines after graduating just for that experience. I am thinking that learning one of these two languages will help me in my future and I am just wondering which would be the best one to learn, Russian or Arabic?

I think arabic is going to be more useful, but it takes a really long time to learn and it is hard.
I know a lot of people who took courses for about 6 months or so and only know a few words.
