Where do you live now? I think you should learn about the Russian culture. If you visit, go to St. Petersburg, Moskva still has lots of organized crime. So does St. Petersburg, but not as much. Sankt. Petersburg is like more european cities, and is still western too. Most Russians are like western countries and accept different people, you find now there are foriegn cuisne restaurants there now.
Calling us skin heads would be a problem, yes. As you have probably heard, other cultures are the minority there. They can and will put you in prison for as little as walking on the wrong side of the road – they do this to their own as well. If you want to go there to study, then make it your goal & do it. We can to America being white, but still a minority since we did not understand english. We have made three generations here of our family. Just learn the language and relate with their customs. That helps.
Honestly, Black people will always find someone who doesn’t like them, but I wouldn’t let that stop you. However, I have heard that many Russians do not like Muslims, esp. the ones living in Russia, so if you’re black and muslim then well idk. but if youre a black christian you’d be ok, most likely.
