I'm starting my first class in the fall and am wondering what I'm getting myself into. I'm a native English speaker. Of course learning the alphabet will be a struggle but I'm hoping that in reading a totally different text will make it somewhat easier?

I want to learn it, but I have no idea where to start. I tried learning the alphabet, and WOW. Seems really hard.

I speak english and korean. german was a piece of cake for me, and I'm still learning french in school. So.....is russian similar to ANY of these languages?
