I can already speak 4 languages and i want to learn one more. I really want to learn either russian or portuguese. Portuguese is a really beautiful language and brazil and portugal are two very beautiful countries with lively cultures. I also know that portuguese would be a lot easier than russian. Russia is not as beautiful a country, but the russian culture is still fascinating as well as russian history and literature. Can you help me decide which language I should choose.

Which is easier to learn?
Which is cooler to learn?
Which should I learn just for fun, not worrying about any future job prospects as a result of the language or anything?
Which literature is best?

I am entering college this Fall. I plan to major in International Studies with a minor in Russian language and literature. I plan on studying Spanish at the same time, and then I want to study Arabic in graduate school. I want to gain employment in the Foreign Service or CIA.
I know some people say the need for Russian language is obsolete. Should I keep Russian as my minor, or should I choose a different minor and just study Russian courses?

And if anyone has a minor or major in it, how hard is it to learn??
Russian has always interested me, and I'm just dying to learn it, I don't know why, it's just a feeling i've always had.
Is there any significance with a minor, or even a major, in Russian language and literature? or whatever they call the major..
Thanks!
