how to speak in a local russian accent ?

I am in a the play The Fiddler on the Roof as a russian. One of my lines I am supposed to mock a girl named Chava (which in yiddish would be pronounced with the guttural sound as Cgha-va) by saying "Mazel tov Chava" with a Russian accent. I thought I would pronounce it with a "k" sound but I got chided for that. So how would I pronounce it? Does the Russian have a guttural "cgh" sound?

I am playing The Grand Duchess Olga Katrina in the play You Can't Take It With You and I have to have a Russian accent! Can anyone help me figure out how to talk like a Russian!?!?!?!?! Please help!!!

For a play I have to speak with a very strong russian accent. I\My character isn't really russian she is fooling everyone to be someone she isn't how can i speak and look russian?
