I need a russian translation for a marriage proposal. Something along the lines of "Will you be my wife" or "Marry me, my love". Please be as exact as possible.

English is my 1st language (obviously...) - suppose I want to ask someone, in Russian: "Excuse me? Do you understand English?"

If I were to write what I think the Russian translation sounds like in latin characters, I'd guess it was close to this:

"EEZ-vn-EET-ya? VOY PU-nee-my-EET-ya pan-GLEESK-uh?"

(assuming I'm using the russian wording: "Вы понимаете Английский?")

Okay, I'm doing a report for school, and I need a English to Russian translator, but the Russian translation must be in NON-cyrillic. A last resort could be a translation between cyrillic Russian and non-cyrillic Russian...
