There are many people here who talk about Israel occupation of Palestine. Okay, but why they say nothing about other territories that were occupied. I decided to bring some examples.

Kaliningrad Oblast (Also known as East Prussia)

Kuril Islands (Former land of Japan)

What do you think about these lands?

The biggest egomaniac Jonathan Lippe who changed his name to Jonathan Goldsmith appears in the Dos Equis commercials has a claim to "speak french in russian". This got me thinking how do Russians say French because that technically is speaking french in russian. Now I used a free online translator to help me find it out and it says it is the same french. This might be wrong but I don't know anyone who speaks russian to confirm this but if I am please correct me. Unless I'm wrong anyone who can say french can pull this "amazing feat".
Fransoozski nice to have it confirmed curious I knew the online translation was BS good job hats off to you
I can't throw you the best answer yet Just Curious but when it comes up you got it.

Im starting to learn Russian independently and I hate writing English in cursive >.< so I was wondering if its okay to handwrite it in "print" (Русский) or do I have to write it like this:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Russian_Cursive_Cyrillic.png

Thank you =)

Trying to find answer to this for a term paper. Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks! I got "Romanized Russian" from Wikipedia: the transliteration of Russian in Cyrillic to Russian in Latin.

Thanks again!
