Unfortunately for you, Russian is not close to any of the languages you have mentioned. Although you'll find a lot of English, French and German borrowings in Russian, they are just that - borrowings. All the basic vocabulary will seem completely alien to you, since the borrowings are usually for words used by specialists and such.
As a native speaker I don't really know what people learning Russian have to go through. I would imagine noun declension is quite difficult, but I've heard there's a similar thing in German (with less cases, but still). As for the alphabet, that should be the least of your worries - you'll learn it in a week or two and after that reading Russian will be relatively easy (except for the unpredictable syllable stress), seeing as Russian is mostly read as it is written, unlike English with its absurd letter combinations like -ough-.

the correct pronounciation is very hard and so is the grammar which is as hard as french grammar. there are more letters in the alphabet in the russian language. some of the letters look the same as english letters but sound and are pronounced differently. russian isnt really similar to french and diffenetly not korean. good luck in learning it tho ;) its a very nice language

Boy- are you in trouble!!!

No, really if you speak more than one language already it is easier. My classmates who spoke only one language had it really hard remembering the rules of grammar.

You have to start with the alphabet of course. Then you go on to learning basic words and then grammar.

The best way to do it (in my opinion) is to be taught by a native speaker, expose yourself as much as possible to the language (books, music, TV) and speak, speak, speak!!!

Russian is no harder than German, some of the grammer is similar.

The alphabet is easy, much easier to deal with than English because it is consistant.
