What makes you think 15 is too young to start. If your high school doesn’t offer lessons, you can take lessons outside of school but that might cost a bit, tho’ IMO it would be worth it if you’re interested and your parents were willing to spring for it .
But if that’s not an option, there are probably books or tapes you can buy from any bookstore, that might help. IDK children’s programs might help too, but it might be a little difficult without a some basic knowledge of the language. I don’t know any programs sorry, but if you can find any, I’d say definitely try it out.
If you could find a college level textbook, that would probably be a great way to start, but you really have to be devoted and put time into it.
I mean those are some options for ya. Learning languages for me was never really something I could do on my own, despite the fact that I would put time into it. I think I always have trouble understanding grammar rules on my own and it helps to have someone experienced to clarify it for me. I don’t know how you are with language, but definitely investigate if your interested.
Hmmm, at the very least you could start building a vocabulary, try to label things you encounter in your everyday life in russian. Things you use, see, whatever.
I have this book that teaches russian..it’s helpful
