I have used Berlitz for German which is very good, but has anybody used any others, such as teach yourself, or BBC?
Sorry, I forgot to mention. Any suggestions other than Rosetta Stone please, because that's too expensive.

I went through several books in my learning, and found many of them to be useless. However, the Living Language series is very good. The "Complete Course" includes a lesson book, an English-Russian dictionary, and three CDs with audio materials, and can be found for about $20. It’s excellent.
I also have the Living Language "Ultimate Russian" book, which has been a great companion book, and helped me to learn more intermediate language features. It’s available with CDs for $50, but I bought the book alone, without CDs, for like $15 somewhere.
And also, I recommend Teach Yourself: Russian Grammar to everyone who is learning the language. It will help you understand all those complicated grammatical features that prove to be stumbling blocks for so many people.
IDK any books but look for something called Rpseta Stone or the Russian Dictionary…
Rosseta Stone is pretty good
Rosetta Stone
