Which is generally more difficult for people do you think? Of course, I think Russian is easy to speak and read because it's my native language. So, I need a second opinion please. Thank you.

I know Russian pretty well, and that had its difficulties, but it wasn’t incredibly hard. I don’t know Mandarin, but I imagine that would be harder. The thing is, I’m a native speaker of two Indo-European languages, and Russian is Indo-European, so that makes it easier. I’d imagine that Russian is easier than Mandarin for most IE-speakers.
That said, it depends a bit on what you find easy: Russian grammar is rather more complicated than Chinese grammar, but the Russian writing system is far easier and the pronunciation, for most IE speakers).
Chinese for sure!
I don’t know about Russian, but learning Chinese is pretty easy with the exception of learning to read and write characters. The characters is what makes learning Chinese hard.
Zdrastvyi Kolya!
Ya prochitala tvoi profile, i tam napisenno chto ti sam iz Rossii. Esli eto tak, to konechno Kitaiskii na mnogo trudnee bydet izychat’.
Ydachi!

PS: I am fluent in Russian, therefore I will say Russian is easier for me..however, I am sure Chinese people will say the same about their language.
Also if you were Polish, then Russian would be easier for you. However if you were Korean, then Chinese would be easier for you. It all depends on what group your native language falls into!!!
