what is the best and easiest way to learn russian?
Ok so i have looked at my local community college and the Russian language is not offered. So I'm going to try to self teach myself, what teaching aids would help me most? I'm looking for specific books, audio, etc.... please keep in mind i have a very tight budget so "Rosetta stone" is out of the equation

Living in a country for about a half a year to a year tends to yield the best results.
Failing that, you have to immerse yourself in every other way you can. On all your websites (e-mail, facebook, etc) switch to "russian" as a language in the settings. Set all your games to "Russian". Watch Russian movies on youtube (e.g. "Vechera na hutore bliz Dikanki" – Вечера на хуторе близ Диканьки, "17 mgnoveni vesni" – 17 мгновений весны, "Cheburashka" – чебурашка, etc), listen to Russian songs, read Russian blogs (bugaga.ru, fishki.net, byaki.net, livejoke.ru), Russian books, etc. You’ll need a dictionary with a lot of it at first, I suggest digital for look-up ease, but you’ll learn the quickest that way. It’s mainly just hard to keep doing it at first, it’s too easy to switch back to English sites for it…
your will to learn russian
Rosetta Stone is the best and easiest way to learn Russian.
Try Pimpleur or Michel Thomas or try then together to begin. + some manual.
