What is the best language program to learn Russian?
My BF is Russian and over the last 5 years I have picked up some words and can understand some bits of conversation -- I would like to learn more of how to speak it though - he doesn't really have the patience to do that sort of thing so i am taking a Russian class for the next 8 weeks - we only meet once a week and i would really like to use an additional program - tapes, pc software - anything to help supplement my learning...any recommendations would be great!!
thanks!
I do best visually - when I can see the word and hear it pronounced....

If you need to see it and hear it, try the Rosetta Stone program. It’s kind of expensive, but it’s really good, although I prefer programs where you do more writing.
I also used the "Teach Yourself Russian Conversation" set and that one was very good too.
удачи!
I’ll teach you.
