		<description>Well, you are mistaken about the &quot;throat thing&quot; in Russian - there are may be only a few sounds, no more then that.
Even though the alphabet is in &quot;Cyrillic&quot;, but it still much easier to learn then Japanese.

That&#039;s why I think that Russian is definitely easier.</description>

		<description>I was having a similar conversation with some friends last week. I&#039;m a Russian major, and they take Japanese, and through the conversation, we decided that Russian was easier. It&#039;s by no means easy, but at least there&#039;s only one alphabet.</description>
