I'm currently studying modern languages and i've been told to choose another language to learn as well as the ones i already am. I like the look of Arabic and Russian but i don't know which one to choose, what do you recommend and why?

well both are in my opinion beautiful if youcan get the accent right for either one it would a good choice
but as for my oinion i suggest russian and my reasoning is i have alot of friends who are russian
my suggestion look up the culture and history for russia and a few countrys who speak arabic perdominetly do research on that don’t look at the bad things that most will say liek russia is a poor countryand all people who speak arabic are terrorists thats complets bull$&#* pick one whos rich history interests you both have things happen that like 90% of the world never hear there is good evreywhere find it and i’m sure you will be able to make the descion for yourself and not based on others opinions or biases
i hope this helps even if a lil bit
arabic, UAE is the the fastest growing market in the world, not to mention the fastest growing hub airport
Russian would be easier to learn, because of common European roots. but Arabic would be more practical, in today’s world.
russia all the way. fewer people who speak russian as well as english fluently, and so you open yourself to a much wider market.
Depends on the languages you have already learned. I speak 5 myself and broke them up according to language groups. Polish (because I am of Polish stock), French, German, Greek and Latin.
It depends on what you want to do as a career. Arabic is great for now, (look what’s happening in the Middle East and Africa). Russian for the future (there is life after Putin and it opens doors to all of Eastern Europe), but would you consider Mandarin? I think China is going to be running more and more stronger in the world’s economy.
Russian would be easier, Arabic not only has much words but alos punctuation and grammar oh my god
