I'm thinking of travelling to Russia in June 2011.

livemocha.com
http://masterrussian.com/ is very good.
Generally I prefer to use books, watch movies and listen to music. But, I recently found this site and I quite like it: http://www.alphadictionary.com/rusgrammar/
It has java exercises, which is really nice.
The focus is mostly on grammar, not vocabulary. I also recommend going to youtube and watching movies. One guy has lots of Russian movies with English subtitles. I won’t put his user name here, as he recently got his account deleted and had to start over, but if you email me I can give it to you.
I found all of the following to be helpful in my own studies.

http://www.wordreference.com/ruen/

I strongly recommend the Living Language book+cd Russian course. It includes a lesson book, a dictionary, and three lesson CDs, and can be found for about $20.
I also recomment Teach Yourself: Russian Grammar, which has a lot of the same information that you’ll find on that AlphaDictionary site, but the explanations are a little easier to understand.
Good luck, and enjoy! Russian is a beautiful language.
